This is a thread for people to just put there own website address on. I find it increasingly confusing whenever I have to look at numerous threads for a URL. So, from now on, just promote your site first on here by putting the address and brief details.

This doesn't mean you cannot talking about yours/other sites, it'll be like a directory!

Asa - I thought this would be a good idea instead of spending ages looking for certain URLs.

Square Eyes Squat - Home to ITV Digital

Ok, why not pop along to my place on the web, The Square Eyes Squat.  It's currently home to a shrine to ITV Digital.  You will find screen shots from ITV Sports Channel, ONrequest / ITV Select, ITV Text + and loads more.  I will be adding more ITV Sports stuff soon as well as the ITV Digital Monkey.

I'm putting together lots of content at the minute so expect regular updates.

My soon to be relaunched website which basically contains a selection of my ramblings and thoughts. With the relaunch will be a dedicated section about the ITN News Channel.

Popular features include the Edith Bowman Campaign, where I have campaigned to get the lovely MTV presenter on TV more than she is now. So far I have been successful- she now does voiceovers on CDUK and copresented Party in the Park for ITV!

TV & Radio Bits

Well I know I'm constantly plugging it on my signature, but in my site will be soon undergoing a major revamp. At the moment consists of a load of random stuff about BBC television and radio, old TV listings and classic 80s shows, audio clips, a few rants and my attempts at comedy.

However I'm busy making vast improvements, doing much better graphics and logos, improving the quality of the audio clips, and also some interesting new content (hopefully) which I can't talk about yet, because it's all top secret! The highly exciting all-new(ish) site is set for launch late August/early September.

So give it a visit, and don't forget to sign the guestbook, of say something in the forum!!

Thank you

DTT News

(Suppose I'd better give it a plug!)

What is the site about ?

It provides news and useful information about the digital terrestrial (ITV Digital) platform in the UK. The site is regularly updated throughout the week, so it cannot be a miss for anyone wanting the latest news!

When did the site start ?

ONdigital TV Heaven (as it was known then) launched in October 2000. When the then ONdigital announced the name change to ITV Digital, it decided it would be best to give the site a more platform general name, rather than the name of just one service on it. Hence DTT News was chosen.

Why did I decide to make the site ?

I supposed it is because I fealt other sites that focused on DTT, provided news I didn't really want about Granada buying a toilet cleaning company etc... (for example). I just wanted news about the channels and services avaliable to me. For example, if all the primary channels were inreasing in price, I wanted to know, if the version 3 ONrequest software was delayed I wanted to know, and many sites didn't bother. My other major gripe is many sites will just depend on sites like Produxion, Media Gaurdian etc... to take news from, I wanted origional news! Hence I research the news that appears on DTT News for myself, if I hear a whisper, I'll find out what it really means. Now the site is readers often contribute news to me, which I feel is a good sign that people enjoy the site and keep coming back.

What do I get for running the site ?

I do not run the site for any financial gain, I do it for a personal satisfaction of being able to help others. I'm sure as the other webmasters in this thread will say, it is very satisfing when people send in emails saying how much they enjoy the site.

I'd also like to say one of the best design moves of the site, was ditching that aweful red/green colour scheem Smile
