Over night they started to use the stings to introduce programmes. A generic ident or a short break filler consiting of an animation like the stings was used at one junction. I also spotted another ECP design. I will upload them soon.

The only thing that let it down are the idents, the navigation devices and logo formation animations are very nice. I particularly like the punchy stings.

The next update is to Comedy Central:

In September 2017 Comedy Central launched a special strand featuring all the Friends episodes named ‘Friendsfest’. A number of special idents and stings were introduced.

Sky Entertainment Channels Rebrand 2017

Today Monday 9 October 2017 the Sky Entertainment Channels were rebranded. The new flat and lowercase logo design introduced was by Sky Sports was extended to the Entertainment channels. Coverage of idents, stings, trailer graphics, end credit promotions, warning bumpers and in programme promotions from Sky One, Two, Living, Atlantic and Arts have been added to Presentation Archive.

A big thank you to everyone who visited the site today, the day is not over yet and we have already bet our previous pageview record! We do try and go the extra mile when there are changes to the Sky channels. It was the first multi-channel rebrand where I have had the facility to record all the channels simultaneously which sped up the process alot. I think you will forgive me that I don't want to see another ident for a while!!

BBC World
MTV Italy, MTV Germany, MTV NL, MTV Denmark &c (Spain and Hungary already adopted them in October) have (once again) a new look, apparently the American one

Not only this new look is rather "blandish", but it destroys any consistency with the MTV music channels they took a lot time to build.. has the British operation adopted this look?
Thanks Smile

I believe MTV is still using the same idents as it has been for the last couple of years.
