Coverage of the National Geographic rebrand from November 2016 when the 'channel' part of the name was removed. The revamp included all areas of the National Geographic Society from the magazine to every Nat Geo channel worldwide. The new look follows the introduction of new idents during the summer. (Perhaps an interim rebrand, or no one told the UK team!)

Tommorrow TV3 & 3e will be rebranded with new logos and a complete revamp in presentation for both channels. Presentation Archive will have comprehensive coverage of the rebrand and coverage of the presentation from UTV Ireland replacement 'Be3'.

One year ago today TERN (Television Entertainment Reality Network) launched its factual entertainment channel 'Insight' in the UK and Ireland. It is the world's first linear tv 4K factual brand. Unfortunately, the UK and Ireland territory does not yet have a 4K version, instead broadcasting in HD on Sky channel 279. I have added coverage of the channels creative and professionally executed idents and presentation. The channel does not use continuity announcers, instead it plays a regular ident, a menu, followed by a programme ident to introduce its programming. The channel also makes use of frequent in-programme graphics. The presentation is split across three different pages,

Watching a bit of History today and it looks like they don't have a permanent DOG anymore.

EDIT: Yep, coming back from the break, a full colour logo animates on in the top right, which then turns black and white for 25 seconds before disappearing until the next ad break.

On Thursday the 4th of May 2017 History UK & Ireland introduced the new international History Channel branding. The new look was created by DixonBaxi and launched in the USA back in January. The new CGI idents are very impressive IMO.

I have not seen these idents in motion, but at first glance it looks absolutely impressive.

'Mars.'
