Hi my name's catherine I am conducting some research on Newsround for a media studies exam. I just want to what people think about the programme, the style of it and the way it teaches and entertains children

Newsround grabs the viewers attention of what happens in the world and the viewers being children meaning simpler graphics and catchy music which helps them to remember things. The presenters try to make kids realise that the news is not just boring but can be interesting for them as they learn from the programme and sparks their imagination.

It is kind of a British Instuition as it has been around sooooo long. It also features stories that matter to young people and encourages them to get involved ie. Press Pack How's that?

I think Newsround is good, it takes news from around the world to a teen/childrens prespective.
