Hi,I got a TV Card so my new website (The Continuity Room) will open in the next 3 months, which like TV Home deals in modern television, with some rarities.
Now I can't put every balloon and 2 ident on it as I'll run out of webspace, so I'm asking you to tell me in this thread what idents of certain companies I should put on.
Here are the ones I've got.
BBC One-Every post May 2000 ident with 7 specials (Olympic,Christmas 2000,Blue Planet,Walking with beasts and all 3 variations of Christmas 2001)
BBC Two-All new idents and all post-2000 idents (Not Garden,Gorrilla Shadow,Dalek idents and Kebab 3) I also have Christmas 2000 and 2001 idents and Silk and Scary idents
C4-most of all new idents early 2000-present
C5-Many 'Celebrity' 2000-2001 idents
So,any requests?

Yes.....by doing what I said in my post. 'I'm asking you to tell me in this thread what idents of certain companies I should put on.' and I proceed with the list.

Billy,
I suggest a local television site, like TVMercia. I would like to see some indepth coverage on television in London, or even the Southwest!
I'm sure you can do something like that.

The Channel 4 and 5 idents you have will be nice to see,not many sites have them!
Answering ED's question, yes there will be regional pages on there, concering London and the South West! Good Coincedence,eh?
What's everyones Favorite post May 2000 Baloon ident? Or post Jan 2000 BBC Two ident?

Perhaps you could put up the special Ben Elton Balloons, I think there were 6 of them. Also would you be able to put on any full 34 second balloon idents, the only place I have ever seen them is on TV home. Maybe you could even put some central cake idents (the ones used between 1996-1998 where they were made out of plastic, stone etc.)
But I DO have some Ben Elton baloons,3 of them recorded off UK Gold recently. And since they are from UK Gold, thay have no announcer!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but why not possibly go for the regional idea that EDTV suggested. Making a website 'like TV Home' simply adds another unnecessary competitor. There are four 'giants' in the UKTV Website field, The TV Room, TV Home, TV-Ark and, when it's online, Identz. Don't try to create another website with content similar to these - it'll be your website that loses in the end.
There's only one website really, apart from the four above, which is not as 'large' as the other, has similar content, yet is great to visit, and that's 'TV and Radio Bits'. A website looking
in detail
at regional television wherever you live would be a fantastic idea. Or, I've noticed those countless galleries of spoofs you posted on APFS - why not more?
The reason I'm telling you this is because in the end it will be your site that loses out - people won't really want to visit for content that they've found previously for months elsewhere.
I'm really sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is reality. Please don't ignore me.
