Is there any reason why this website is made in flash, when it could have easily been created using html and client side scripting.

I'm all for flash websites, but why use them when you don't need to?

It's one of those templates I think. I remember having seeing that when I had my very first website...

All moonfruit sites are Flash sites. It takes a while to load, and all the sites have a basic template, but that's the only drawback as the Flash forums can be quite fast, and you can have a selection of mp3's that users can listen to etc.
