At first I didn't realise myself, but the BBC ONE section is on Page 2 of the History section (check at the very top here). Orry kind of beat me to it though!

About actually saving the clips, you'll find that all videos won't play while in the html version of the site, but you can right-click where the video fails to appear and then view the source, in which you'll find a link to the MP4 itself amongst the code, which can then be entered into the address bar and downloaded.

I didn't spot that either. I don't think I'll commission Lambie Nairn to design me a website on reflection.

EDIT: Interesting to see they've included the BBC One balloons, but not the dancers - perhaps a reflection on which they're more proud of!

Has anyone seen their work for NOS? That's the way BBC News should and could have gone!

I liked the first NOS ident, but the others were a bit ropey.

It's a shame LN have removed the Discovery Channel idents. I loved them - especially the sundial/clock/clouds/planets one! Amazing stuff.

Yes, I was thinking that; the balloon was a tough act to follow, and as it turns out they didn't equal it.

Surely it must indicate they know themselves that the dancers just weren't successful, when compared to their other works for the Beeb; the original virtual globe-encased '1' ident and subsequent stings; the Balloon concept 6 years later (which was the best identity BBC ONE have had to this day), and on TWO, the 2's from 1991 - 2001 which were a phenomenal success on a level unequalled since.

With these accomplishments, expectations were high, no doubt. But, with the dancers they just failed to hit that same high standard that we had seen in '91 and '97.

Is it just me, or has all the content vanished from Lambie Nairn? All the buttons work for me, but the pages themselves are just blank pages. Anyone know why?

I can't seem to access it all!
