It's ok, not great and I'm sure others could do better, there's just something strange about it.

They could have got rid of the bevelled logo and that line blue background.

I like how all the different sections line up, I'm not so keen on how the highlights on the left don't match up to the sections, but it is easily set out. It doesn't look as good as bbc.co.uk and channel4.com, though I prefer it to five.tv.

Still something very odd about the website that makes it look unfinished.
Rather than using boxes for everything they have introduced some 45 degree angles and some more graphics - which is a plus. But otherwise there is too much going on and it's not obvious how to navigate the website.

Also you would have thought they would have used the NEW ITV Weather graphics on the weather maps as all regions have introduced new graphics in the last week.

When did that happen?? Hopefully they might improve the news section.
I wish they'd take a look at some of the American Networks' web sites, they are so much better IMO

Why the heck do they opt for such small font sizes? It makes it very difficult for someone to read, I have reasonable sight but am struggling to read it.

Edit: Looked at it with IE and it isn't as bad, but I use Firefox and even looking at it with Netscape it is clear that this new site has not been designed to be fully compatible with non-IE browsers. Tut tut tut, if not viewed in Internet Explorer the site looks rather awful.

Also that banner add looks very out of place.

Nice, not too much of a change. Loads almost instantly here and a lot quicker than the previous ramble.

Yes, but bbc.co.uk gets a (big) guaranteed income every year. itv.com probably only gets a few measly pennies from Charles Allen every blue moon.

true and why would ITV want their websites bigger than the BBC? Its a Television Network not an expert web service. Not bad site though, provides most of my needs for movies, sport and news!

I disagree, the content is terrible (and the design is still poor). I remember being asked to look up the latest FA Cup draw results - and for some reason BBC wasn't working as a new internet proxy system was being installed. So I went to look on ITV Sport, and not one mention of the draw. In the end I used BBC WAP to find out.
