Although it's an excellent service, I have a horrible feeling that it'll never get any further than the pilot.
If you HAPPEN to have a load of spare Hastings or Brighton stories, then it MIGHT be cost effective, but if you haven't, then it's an expensive luxury.

Exactly, but if they're just going to put the whole Meridian West news programme and things like 50 Years in the South on there, then there's little point in it calling itself local.
They need to be ultra-local and concentrate on such things for the idea to take off and be a success.

I did watch the Meridian News West in the Brighton section, of it, for the first time.

I tend to agree with you Mr Harvey.
I think it needs a little more work, before it might expand to other regions, I did like the way you could watch ITV50 and Meridian regional programmes in full, though the updates I notice is a bit slow, I also think it's great that people can upload their videos about their community or issues that effect their area, there was a video called "I'm a Volunteer, get me in there" it sort of motivated me to enquire being a Volunteer.
I guess it takes time...

interesting that, atleast to some degree the components of the loop will be branded as "bbc coventry and warwickshire tv", "bbc hereford and worcester tv" etc. and the title sequence sounds FAB.
