New Friends Website

Friends : The Geller Yeller is a brand new website devoted to bringing you the latest Friends News, as well as Information and a mass of Media files for you to download. The website will hopefully be launching in just a couple of weeks time, but may be delayed to late September, and I need some help in making it. Do you love Friends, would like to help out and fit any of the following
criteria?

» Do you live in America and always watch the latest Friends episodes?
» Do you live in America and have a Capture Card?
» Do you live in the UK?
» Do you live in another country where Friends is aired and are good at writing and/or have a capture card?
» Do you have a large selection of Friends episodes on Tape/Video, plus have a Capture Card and/or are experienced at writing?
» Do you think you know everything there is to know about Friends?
» Are you always the first to know the latest Friends news?
» Are you good at writing articles?

Ok, here's another (rather long) summary of what we're looking for...

Character Biographies
We're currently looking for people to write detailed Biographies of Chandler, Joey and/or Phoebe. Not the actors who play them, but the characters themselves. (We have somebody doing Rachel and the Gellers)

Episode Summaries
We also need people (who preferably have a large selection of Friends Videos/DVDs) to write Summaries of major Friends Episodes (Season Finales, Returns, etc...). They don't have to be long, and an example of one can be found at http://www.gelleryeller.com/episodes/s1/1.shtml

Coming Soon
For Americans we also need people to, once Series 10 starts, send us the latest information on the episodes. I'll then use this to write Coming Soon articles for United Kingdom viewers, and for other countries approaching Series 10. Even better if they have a Capture Card and could take some captures of the new series, and if possible, capture a Video of the new credits.

Media & Downloads
If you live in a country outside of the UK and own a Capture Card, we're looking to get captures of the "End of Part 1" style screens that appear before and after Friends ad-breaks.

News
If you always seem to know the latest Friends news as it happens, we're looking for people to help with the News section of the website, keeping it up to date with the latest news on the Friends stars.

General
If you think you know everything there is to know about Friends, we just need you throughout the site, helping with different aspects and providing information when it's needed.

If you do choose to help, you can do as much or as little as you want. We don't expect you to do huge amounts, unless you want to. It's completely up to you! You wouldn't be the only member of staff to do nothing. :p

If you think you can help the site with any of the above points, please email back. If you do decide to help out, I can set you up a special yourname@gelleryeller.com email address, which can either act as a normal email address for you, or can simply redirect email sent to it to your usual email address. You will also get Staff status on our Message Board, which contains the Staff forum where you can discuss the website and tell us about new things you'd like to do on it, ask for help on a new article you're writing, or give suggestions for new sections.

i am sure it has, if so how can there be any "friends news"?

There's still one more series, airing in the USA this September, and early 2004 in the UK.

Once it's finished, there'll be news on the actors and what they're up to!
