A new forum

I have made a new forum in discord. It is run slightly differently to here, but has the same principal. The forum also includes radio

I'm not trying to sound like an asshole, but Asa has a pretty good thing going on here. What is it your forum offers that isn't here besides the radio forum?

I agree. Also, TV Forum has existed longer and is trusted by more people for use and info (sometimes info).

Starting a forum from scratch with no user base never tends to work well, particularly if it's dedicated to a similar subject as an existing forum with a large active userbase such as this one. They only really tend to work if there was no such forum already, or (from experience) if a large percentage of a previously established forum have fallen out with the management and want to break away.

Besides - I thought Discord was a replacement for Skype, Mumble, IRC and the like? Instant messaging not message boards?

Discord was designed as an instant messaging system for gamers and an alternative for the likes of Skype and TeamSpeak.

It has managed to become successful through the likes of eSports and Twitch streamers.

I just run the forum in a different, more relaxed way. E.g I alliw fantasy rotas, and I will allow certain charity promotion if it has a link/prize with TV. There are other things, however I do not want to fall out eith the TVF management, as I like this forum
