As mentioned by andyface in the bbc.co.uk thread, BBC Three has rolled out a new design for its site today.

It seems the 'BBC TV' logo seen on bbc.co.uk/tv is (rightly) being rolled out across the individual channels' pages. What does everyone think?

I would think the bbc.co.uk/tv page itself will be relaunched before too long, as part of the TV & iPlayer 'product'. It will be interesting to see how iPlayer will become more closely integrated with the channel homepages and programme pages.

As for the BBC Three homepage, it's now clear why the channel's programme pages turned pink yesterday, although strange how there are no other design links between the homepage and the programme pages; they feel like completely separate entities rather than part of the same whole.

It's responsive! Nice. (Try resizing the window on the desktop version)

That probably explains, why I could not find a 'Switch to Desktop Version' button. Smile

I much prefer the logo rectangles as opposed to the boxes. Shame that probably won't transfer over to the channels themselves, even if the BBC logo was attached.

The incredibly patronising BBC error page message is about again - http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/watch

I didn't type the URL - I clicked the erroneous links from http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/programmes/schedules/today

EDIT:

Pages updated to remove / re-direct the links so you don't get the dumb error message.

First rule of website error pages - It is ALWAYS the fault of the website, and NEVER the user!

It's really rather nice.
I wish the title was just 'BBC Three - ...', like the programme page.
And I agree with Ant about the logo.
Even still, quite nice.

Looks good - or it would if the programme images were of a higher resolution. They're all blurry! Surprised

Very very nice. Smile

So much better. Bring on the BBC1/2/4 redesigns.

Speaking of which, the menu on www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone has been changed - the Idents link has been removed, the BBC One HD link has gone too, and not sure if any others are missing. The same for BBC2 and BBC4 as well - no more Idents link.

The pages still exist however. www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/idents www.bbc.co.uk/bbctwo/idents

Someone record the clean Capes ident before it disappears!
