Now, there's tounge-in-cheek and there's tounge-in-cheek! But as someone else stated, threads like this are what make this forum entertaining!

WOW - thanks for capturing that for us - I' ve picked up so many tips.

I loved waiting for Blackberry Way by The Move whilst we were allowed to hear more of the weather bed!

I've been reading the local forecast in style of Anthony all day today - I might sign him up I am after freelancers for Christmas!

By the way I feel so nostalgic, and I don't mean to be nasty BUT listening to the entertainment news it reminded me of my primary school teaching days - 'Now Anthony it's your turn to read'.

hehehe - maybe Anthony should enroll at the Harvey Hyden Prout school of vocal excellence, and we'll teach AA to have a perfectly cheesy radio voice, ideal for the fast-paced thrill of World Weather. Wink

I think he would benefit hugely, Mr P.

Anyway, at the end of the two day download-a-marathon, I'm happy to say the file's been downloaded another 29 times, using up 242 megs of bandwidth - which is quite impressive and takes the total number of downloads to well over fifty.

Now remember and keep the file. One day this will be worth something and you shall want to tell your grandkids that you were there for the launch of Neon Radio.

All the discussions about the programme coming from a shopping centre prompt me to ask whether it actually came from his home.

Isn't that address registered to neonradio.net a flat above a shopping centre in Upper Tooting Road?

If you have a drive along there on your way to the South Bank, I think you'll agree!

It would be quite possible to broadcast online from Whiteleys shopping centre as there is an internet cafe there with a wi-fi hotspot

(IIRC Anthony was claiming to be at Whiteleys)

Well yes, it would be *possible*, but likely? I mean, would you have the gall to sit in the middle of an internet cafe and read the world weather?

Anyone heard about the plans for him to take over Chris Moyles' afternoon show once he's gone to mornings? Apparently the BBC will pay whatever it takes to boot Sara Cox and put Ant on instead.

Nice to see our license fee used properly for once!
