Yes, that was me. Getting sick and tired of this pathetic little twerp stealing videos from me as well as Transdiffusion. The question is, why is he denying all knowledge of thieving? He knows full well he's doing it, and the evidence is clear for all to see.
As for that Jezebel comment Bilky kindly posted, words fail me. They really do.

Unfortunately, that's not what is going on inside his mind, inside his own little parallel universe. So when the fact is communicated to him, it does not compute. I don't think he'll ever stop, he's been at it too long now, the only option is to ignore him entirely, which isn't easy when his videos readily sprout up when you're searching for genuine continuity.
An option to remove specified/blocked users' videos from searches would be nice...

What a very interesting read.
This cwilliams fella has been doing this for so long now I doubt he'll ever stop. The fact is it seems to be so much a part of his daily life and routine and the fact he may be stealing other people's videos will not phase him because he enjoys what he's doing and thats that.

I think the comments thread on the post about cwilliams1976's videos definitely needs to close - obviously, cwilliams1976 is in the wrong, but it doesn't help the situation when lots of people are either hurling abuse at him or bombarding him with questions and suggestions. The comments about contacting social services aren't appropriate. It's clear he won't stop posting, so for his sake, it needs to stop.
Reporting his account for copyright reasons could potentially be very destructive, as the real examples on YouTube that he has "stolen" are just as in breach of copyright as his versions. Whilst it is against YouTube guidelines to duplicate a video, he hasn't breached any copyright of the users (other than the copyright of the Transdiffusion logo). If he gets reported, there is nothing stopping him retaliating by reporting other users to broadcasters. Reporting the videos as having misleading titles and descriptions is preferable, however - although how effective that is remains to be seen.
The one course of action that would solve everything is the one that is probably impossible: direct contact with YouTube. With explanation of everything that has gone on, appropriate measures could be taken - the multiple choice reporting system isn't really appropriate for what's going on.

Yes I've been following the thread and it feels as though it's just been going on a bit too long, there is a bio on cwilliams' website which explains to some degree his actions. It's pretty tough reading. But this doesn't change what he does is annoying or misleading to people looking for real archive footage.
I think this needs to be done with a bit more sensitivity now, and less publicly.

I don't think his past is at all relevant. He's a liar, and he now seems to be making libellous comments against people who genuinely provide a service.
That thread seems to have stirred at least one Copyright holder to take action - all power to it.
Being Disabled is not a Get Out of Jail Free card and using it as such is abhorrent to me.
