So, whilst surfing YouTube I came across a mock from one Mr2011DomDom. I noticed that all he'd done was chroma key this mock by our own Lee Seaman (of Norwich Designer) over a video loop of the 2009 GMTV titles. The video is now 'unavailable'.

I don't understand the point in most of these mocks. Do people do because they're bored? Because they think they're talented? Because they think people want to see what ident N would look like with ident J's music?

I actually feel like crying watching his/her videos! They are too awful for words.
Most of the videos are soap end credits and opening titles... if you can call them such. Most of them are just a blurry picture from the soap with bog standard text moving over them. How that can be called a mock I don't know.

Call it a "mock", "remake" or "reversion" if you're feeling particularly full of your talents, it all has no meaning. At least they're flagging their worthless nonsense onto the world under the pretence of being mocks rather than assuming the alternate reality they exist in is real.
Still, mocks only right? There's a whole treasure trove of things that make you wonder "why did you even bother?" and they're not mocks at all, most are of the swapped audio sort but don't venture into the realm of home video ident unless you want to lose hope in humanity and had an itch to wonder what that Video Collection ident sounded like slowed down then sped up with various Movie Maker effects placed over it. 9 minutes.
