As you will doubtless know (because you do subscribe to the mailing list the PP is associated with, right?) Darren has posted that it's not a quick fix and he has work and family commitments that are a higher priority.
In terms of how you can "progress" things, you can't. It's not like it's a service you're paying for. Be patient, and don't give Darren any reason to think that calling it a day would be easier than dealing with a load of hassle.

I never know, I did sub to the mailing list but it look like utter jibarish, so I unsubscribe.

I was part of the mailing list but unsubscribed for the reason 623058 mentioned above. My apologies if it appeared demanding; it wasn't meant to be. I will be patient.

Years ago it was full of people arguing over the colours of a certain testcard. Anal wasn't the word.

Well it was essentially the TV Forum of the 90's.
Haven't looked at it for years but I think people of TV Forum criticising it as 'anal' or 'gibberish' is a bit of a case of pot kettle black!

I stand by my point. The format was dreadful and i couldn't tell where each section started, ended or even if it changed topic.

I imagine 623058 was more taking about the format of a mailing list, rather than the content itself. In comparison to forums they are much harder and confusing to follow and don't really have a centralised archive like forums do (old newsgroups on Google Groups aside). Obviously this is not the fault of the people behind MHP, it's just what was the easiest way to set up an online message board 20 years ago.
(It also doesn't help that one email is sent automatically every day (the on this day email) which fills up your inbox unless you sign up to the digest version. Which means you're more likely to miss actual posts sent once every blue moon)

You need a better email client then. Works very well in Gmail.

I remember someone on the list saying "I found a lovely site the other day which had great testcards." - No link, no other information. Very dour, very stale conversation.
The only interesting stuff was the Transdifussion guys.
