Don't know if it's connected but all websites that end .co.nr are also down. There are loads of minor football clubs, blogs and forums complaining on Facebook.

Isn't that the free domain name service? You get what you pay for when it comes to Internet services.

Back up now, but still minus the upload facility. Darren's not replying to messages, so no idea what the problem is and if or when it will be fixed.

Someone appears to have put a new message about the upload service which is on auto scroll.

I tried to log in last night but my account seems to have been destroyed too. I tried to join but apparently you need some invitation code.

Is it not a little fishy that the message is "PLEASE CAN THE UPLOAD FACILITY BE FIXED, MANY THANKS"? Does that mean someone has hacked into the site? It's all a bit odd, although I like that whoever has posted it has used the marquee tag just to make the site even more of a 90s relic.

Why do I get the nasty feeling that I might have done it? I joined a subscription list and seem to recall writing that message but didn't think it would end up here! Then again, I could be wrong!

This is getting silly now. About six months on and no sign of a fix. I've emailed Astro Hosts, who I believe host the site, but haven't heard back. It's very frustrating, especially since I have something to upload to it!

A few weeks ago my log in didn't work but as of today it does.
