The upload facility has been down since early January. Anyone in the know or on the mailing list know what the problem is, or when it is likely to be resolved?

Goodness knows. The site is still littered with errors and bugs that have not been dealt with in ten years.

I'm assuming you can no longer request to be added to this section, but does anyone know if you can view the Christmas idents for 1975 and 1978 on BBC2? I think these are the only ones missing and I've always wondered if they were hidden here.

You can request to be added - you need an access code - but none of the numerous ones worked that was supplied with for a friend.

I'm not sure if the 75 and 78 idents are on there, but I'll check.

There's not a lot of stuff on there that hasn't since been ripped to YouTube or other sites, it's great for a rainy day to look through the archives as they go back to 1998 although inevitably the quality of the videos (RealVideo) can be quite poor depending on how long ago they were uploaded.

Are you able to invite me to join please? It says it's by invitation only but I'm guessing an existing member has to invite me? PM me for my email address.

The option to invite new members doesn't appear to be there at the moment, but I'll do some digging.

PP's not really been much good for years, since it became a dumping ground for library tracks rather than itneresting pres bits.

As far as presentation clips go, YouTube et al have pretty much made the PP redundant. Personally I have no problem with the music uploads - it's a good place to find rare tracks.
