I've noticed that too. There's not a problem at our end as far as I can see. "Meanwhile" runs on the same system and that's been working fine.

I wonder if the problem is related to the caching. On our end it is updated upon every new post, but on here it only checks every ten mins or so.

It seems if there isn't a change between updates it vanishes.

No, when the connectivity issues happened the other week I put a timeout of 2secs on the call to the Metropol page which sometimes seems a little bit too quick and so it returned nothing. Will extend it shortly to stop it happening.

well the forum was by them, me and sput did the chat theme, by making a silly header and stealing the BBC's footer.

In retrospect, we should have made them match, but it was done in a rush, however don't worry, IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN

Re the cookies issue highlighted on the sign in page ....

How do I delete in IE7 individual cookies please? I can only see an option to delete the lot which I don't want to do.

I don't know how with IE7, but Firefox users may also have to manually delete - rather than using the "Delete Board Cookies" link at the foot of the homepage.

Tools > Options > Privacy Tab > "Show Cookies" Button

then seach for metropol (using the search box) and delete them from the list.

No luck, will have to wait for the offending cookie to time out I suppose, the clear cookies option on M. fails to resolve the issue.
