In terms of the Upload Service, it's either it or Google Chrome, but one of them doesn't enjoy reading SketchUp files when people post them as part of their mocks. For me, upon clicking one, it won't download it, but instead open it in Chrome, as code, for Chrome itself decide it is just text in Korean. Basically, the file should download, but doesn't.

Is this just some problem on my end, or can others replicate it?

I'm on Chrome and it does the same thing. Best method round is to right click and Save As.

yup, had a few reports of that. am investigating whether its essentially just replacing a standard timeout or whether it's a flaw in the CDN system.

Has anyone noticed any increase in speed since I turned this thing on btw?

That error appeared merely trying to access the forum. I don't think it's a timeout, because it appeared instantly.

If this is unique to .skp files or not, I don't know, but this file provokes a 'This webpage is not found error'. It still appears in the user's uploads, so presumably it hasn't been deleted, and if it has, then surely there should be the Tsk card page?

Not sure, but it downloads fine by right clicking and Saving As.

Perhaps it's a temporary solution to the problem that used to happen with SKP files when it came up with a load of binary nonsense when the link was clicked on, instead of downloading.

see I thought we'd fixed the .skp problem so it would just download. very odd. will investigate further.

Oops, just noticed a bug. I uploaded a file called 'EyeTVSnapshot[2].jpg' which is how the software I use automatically numbers each screenshot after the first. Because it used those types of brackets, the .jpg]link to it doesn't work and when I tried to link it in a post it just came up as ".jpg]*".

Oh, and as you can see after pressing 'preview post' linking it doesn't work either with it coming up as ".jpg]link". Here's the raw link:

What is the problem with the 'TV Forum Watch' thread in Metropol?

Why can't we peacefully co-exist with each other without moaning?

We could. If there wasn't things to moan about.
