For the moment we'll just have to do with Ukradio.com. It is sad to see the forumside shut down. However it did say said that the forum may come back. Well let hope so!
I can't really see there being a specific forum base to replace MUK, and even though it says so on the MUK web site, I doubt if we'll ever see forums there again.

The whole concept got out of hand in the end. Myself I would have closed it for a short while (and kept the real names forum open), pruned the messages to those that were relevent, cancelled membernames that were disruptive to the forums and then reopened, new members by application only.
The problem with MUK was that it was too easy to have multiple membernames.
However I hope something is done with the message based, maybe archive it on google groups or something . . . I and hundreds others will be well pissed with James if they disappear completely - people have put many countless hours of work into those messages and many of them are valuable information sources.

It really is pathetic isn't it. As a suggestion, if you want to take the high ground James you may want to diverse in conversation with MrtomServo privately through the PM system. For reasons which I'm sure are obvious to the majority of other members.
