Well it's a few weeks now since I found I could get quite a good picture from the local RSL station here in Manchester, so I've launched a site about it's presentation, seeing as it is unavailable anywhere else.

It's called 'the m site' and is all about channel m.

It's only a small site, but then it's only a small TV channel.

And the address? thats www.ashfish.co.uk/m/

Pah, I tried for days to pick up Channel M, but never even found a vague outline of a channel. Channel M - TV For Manchester... unless you actually live in the centre of Manchester. Confused

Anyway, thats a very good site you have going there Ashley. Bravo! Very Happy

For some reason we here in Warrington can pick up a very bad signal for Channel M, though as said it is very poor. Shame they can't put it on DTT or something.

Aye, it is a little bugger, I tried for ages from the launch to try and pick it up but could get nothing but snow, even though I should have been within the area that should get it. Then they bosted the signal about a year or two ago and I could get a really snowy picture, then with the help of a bent coathanger, I've managed to get an almost perfect picture.

Here in the lounge of a wee office in sale we pick it up very well indeed although the catch is that whenever i tune in it is always a news channel.

An I'm only a few miles from Sale, but it does snow so terribly on the main TV, intersetingly, on the small TV in the consevatory the pictures slightly better, even though they are both conected to the same ariel. Of course I can pick up a weak signal of BBC 2 wales with my bent coathanger, and a weak signal of S4C on the main TV but not the other way around.

The transmitters in Salford somewhere and all the ariels are pointing to Winter Hill, so only those in the south can get it really. Are you using an outdoor ariel or an indoor one?
