Weeks of "should I, shouldn't I..." are finally over. I've decided to plug my site in this part of the TV forum for the second time since joining.

Yep, it's the imaginatively named LSTV this time. I can't promise much on ITV or politics, but there's quite a lot of stuff from BBC News. Not really intentional, that's just the way it worked out. The main focus is on the news channels. Each channel has it's own uniquely designed page linking you to the captures.

That's all there is to it really, a bunch of captures on a very disorganised website. It may be of some use, you never know! It's life depends on your input. Please do tell me off if it's a bad idea, it's just not worth it, or I'm breaking some sort of law! And if you have any ideas - however wild and impossible - please share! Nitpick as much as you like. Just say something! Anything!! Crying or Very sad

P.S. Hope you all had a good Christmas! Smile

Thanks Smile

New Channel 4 section now up. Nothing special as far as the site design goes, it's more about the captures. Hopefully I'll have something from Five News over the weekend as well.

You can now get to the site by going to http://lstvpres.leeseaman.com - Any problems, get in touch.

Thanks
Lee.

Now updated with images and video from Five News, and two videos from the opening and closing of Channel 4 News.

The site looks great - and you were certainly the first to provide coverage of the C4 revamp.

A bit more video content and it'll be perfect!

Thanks Brekkie. Channel 4 wasn't easy, I had to let it run for about 2 hours, then go back and find what I needed. I didn't quite expect to be pasting over 120 images into Photoshop and saving them all to web! I wasn't actually recording so I didn't get any video that I could look back on and export for the web. There's a lot to get use to but I'm sure I'll find easier and quicker ways to do things when I'm more use to the routine of capturing, uploading, and keeping things organised, and hopefully I'll be able to upload more video.

I'm thinking of trashing the ITV1 section, I think better captures are available elsewhere. And I don't plan on getting masses of stuff from Five News, mainly because Five is Ashley's department. I don't really need to take on things that can be found elsewhere!

Anyway, I'll keep working on it. I know the site design is a little odd but I'll update it all soon with the top drop-down menu on all pages so it's easier to get around.

Any other ideas or suggestions including a different name for the site are welcome. I named it LSTV Pres and not just LSTV because I wanted to make it part of a bigger site called LSTV that would include the sub-sites LSTV Pres and LSTV Mocks. It would be nice to settle the site into something now and get it sorted!

Fabulous site, content is great, it's also quite fast on dialup (as I'm stuck with that until we move), which is more than can be said for many sites...

Sky News section now offline because there was nothing really there in the first place. It'll be back when any changes start to happen on Sky News.

Five News now has links to the videos I posted here from the first full programme last Monday.

Instead of deleting ITV1, I've grouped it together with the rest of the ITV stuff.

There are also some changes to how you navigate through the site. You should see a little menu at the top which lists all the sections, making it easier for you to get around. I've also added links to other pres sites in certain sections, I'll add more each time I update.

So there you go, thats all for now.

Thanks for pointing that out, but I doubt many will make that mistake as long as they use the link I posted.

Good work Lee. What we need now is some sort of International Confederation of Presentation Enthusiasts, who delegate equal amounts of work to each site to ensure everything is covered - nothing duplicated.
A bulletproof plan, I'm certain you will agree.
