TV and Radio Bits is definitely one of the biggest gaps. There was apparently a reason but it's still a shame it had to be completely removed from the web.

Right, the easiest way to answer this is to check for broken links on websites. http://www.tvarchive.org.uk/TVA/?p=TVA/links.htm is one that's not been updated in a long time. Let's see...

Well of course, and it would probably take you several decades to see all the active websites let alone those that have been deleted too!

It is a shame, but the reason for the closure was down to copyright reasons, and I decided I no longer wanted to be responsible for the display of copyrighted material on the web. If it was still available on Internet Archive, not only would that material still be there, but my name and e-mail would still be associated with it.

Even if it has still been going I think it's doubtful I'd still be updating it; it was starting to become a chore, and for example I was so ambivalent towards BBC One's recent Christmas idents I can't imagine I've have been bothered to update it at all; plus all the video clips acrodd the site would have needed upgrading from low quality RealVideo clips.

Despite the loss of various sites, I still think there is plenty of coverage online of television presentation that is still updated, what with the likes of TV Ark, TV Live and the Ident Gallery

You mist out TV whirl Wink Im sure I remember visiting that site a few times, years ago. Was there some strange page on it? p*** takes?

Following is not directed at your good self.

There nothing wrong with people saying who bugger this, I let the website die etc,.. but its more the fact information starts to disappear. unlike a book it, where its kept and you can go back to it and reed it. Website goes and that is! no more information. So back 1999/2000/2001 there were many website and many with useful highly informative details which now seem to have all been lost.

Were now paying for it, and trying to play catch up on a lot of the press sites, which can not be good for anyone. some of the information lost come from old books and leaflets...and some people don't wont to share such public but forgotten details.
