why is it that some bbc websites for the english regions in particular never update the majority of their website content? The only regular change(s) is the updated news section. For example, click on the behind the scenes section of the pw webpage and you'll see will glennon sitting behind the wooden table which was dropped from the set ages ago................Speaking of this, anyone notice total dissapearance of bbc nwt page???? Shocked

The PW website was updated TODAY - with a new mailing list added. (Do join, get email from presenters!) Linkage here

We've not had time to update the pictures lately ... we usually do them in batches. We do have other websites to maintain which are much more time consuming, like the Where I Live sites.

The BBC regions websites are slightly more of a priority than the BBC Radio websites but both are pretty well down the to do list. Every english region has lost at least one member of online staff to Mr Thompsons cuts.

The BBC need to start making their local bulletins available in broadband quality if not better than what we have now. Don't know what anyone else thinks but they are almost completely unwatchable, particularly Midlands Today - or is that just the quality of the programme? Laughing

I noticed that the Radio Devonwebsite has now had all its "Radio Devon" graphics removed, and has become part of the "Where I live" website in the style of www.bbc.co.uk/devon

I sincerly hope your not suggesting what I think you are - because if you are I'll have to come round and draw on your face! You've been warned. Laughing

The BBC Radio Jersey and Spotlight Channel Island sites have moved to be part of the BBC Jersey wil site www.bbc.co.uk/jersey - all Local Radio and Regional TV services will merge eventually - makes it easier to run and update.

Spotlight CI is available in Broadband by the way - and has been since we launched the WIL site three years ago - I said we do it BB or we don't do it.
