Happy birthday to my site Java! Yes, I know it's a shadow of what it once was and it goes down more often than a pair of newlyweds on honeymoon but four years is quite a big number. Why was it called Java TV in the first place?

And what an amazing site it's been. Here's to another 4 years and beyond!

Java is the name of the third track on side one of 'Girl on a Test Card', released by BBC Records in 1973. The sleeve notes inform us that it is "of course, the music associated with the show Vision On" though I have yet to hear it in any clip of Vision On I have seen. I liked the name and planned a satellite TV station around the name, which was of course somewhat impossible. A few 'What If's and the next best thing and voila....
