The menus on the programme sites are pretty dire if there's a lot of items. Should be a priority, accommodating larger sites. Example is This Morning's site: http://www.itv.com/thismorning/ with far too many items in the menu, and as the window gets narrower (like on Mobile) this looks pretty horrid.
I'm being picky though because the amount of consistency we're seeing on ITV.com is amazing nowadays with nearly every site having the same template and being responsive for mobile and tablets. I just hope once they've fully moved everything to the new layout that they work on a few things like the site menus.
Also not a huge fan of the site headers. The "Watch on ITV Player" looks invariably **** on top of the header images, and the schedules looking quite poor too. Particularly nasty implementations of this are at Coronation St http://www.itv.com/coronationstreet/.
Finally, I hope the new sites get something like ITV News's http://www.itv.com/news/ "4 highlights" in a horizontal row at the top before the "live stream" we now see on every page. This will allow users to see what is "hot" without having to find out from scrolling through the whole stream. Content discovery and promoted/important content needs to be added to all these programme sites. Look at BGT's site http://www.itv.com/britainsgottalent this is crying out for some promoted content at the top, but at present is just an endless stream of reverse date-ordered content.
Anyway, sure they will improve things when the full transition is over. What else needs to be ported?

I guess ITV Player is due another refresh? Doesn't really match this "new" site look now.

Worth noting that there has been a (slight) update to the ITV Player, the homepage now consists of categorised programs and a new scrolling bar.
Not heard anything since so that might have been delayed, or complete sh!t in the first place.
Annoying though - the BBC are smashing it with the new iPlayer and responsive BBC News sites.
Hope this is still true because the source seemed pretty sure and has been reliable in the past.

I've seen the new homepage before, but it was when I was trying to access the channels pages just now, I was getting a Service Unavailable. https://www.itv.com/itv
