ITV.com, 2013 rebrand onwards

The Australian and UK site (as well as most of the others) all use the same (pretty boring, IMO) format. Why does the German one differ so much from the rest? are the other international sites going to adopt that design eventually? It's quite a nice design, so I hope so!

It might be a trial to see if it is liked and suitable for the other sites.

Not that Im complaining, but watched corrie yesterday and bgt today on ITV player without any adverts playing, just sponsorship.

itv.com/weather is closing. Soon it will be itv.com/news/topic/weather/ which will be consistent with the regions.

Are they daft? It's the regions that should've been changed. For example, itv.com/weather/anglia

News and Weather aren't the same department, so the weather really doesn't belong at itv.com/news

To the viewer, news and weather are basically the same type of thing. In fact the only reason we have separate programmes instead of the weather being in the newsroom is because of the sponsorship.

I watched the finale of Broadchurch without any ads. They would try to cut in about 5 sections before they would meant to, but fail then go back to the programme.

Maybe Adblock is doing it's job and blocking the ads?

Are you sure about that? I thought ITV Weather is done by ITN.

No, isn't it the Met Office?

The data is supplied by the Met Office, like with the BBC. However, ITN do the bulletins, much like they do with Channel 4. I am happy to be proven wrong, but I am sure that's how it works.
