Error page from the ITV website; waggle the mouse and the four coloured blobs on the right jiggle with it. Quite smart.

They need to sort out the horrible upscaling of the ITV logo on ITV PLC page

Shame they couldn't give the Error 404 page a similar design.

All quite quiet on the website front.

My latest thoughts for the site: that MadebyMany should be paid to design a new standardised website layout for show pages etc, with the new adaptive layout seen on the homepage/news sites.

Ideally, maintaining the richness and uniqueness of a show's site features but in a format that is unified.

So all show sites and content pages would move to this new backend system and eventually all pages with the old style deleted.

On a pernickety note it's a shame they've implemented Retina display-compatible graphics on the homepage but not the logo in the header on other pages. The homepage looks incredible on my iPad but the rest of the site not so much.

I also think it's a shame the ITV News website does not include the logo, and a bit more colour matching to the new theme. The teal look would be better using the blue shade IMO, or a mixture as seen throughout the new pres.

Good to get rid of that old dark grey background.

Indeed. I hope they're working on improvements to the News site, it could do with a major freshening up since the revamp.

They can do more with the top section, make it vibrant, a bit more interactive with larger images, maybe even top story summary. The ITV News logo ought to appear too.

The fundamentals should stay the same but they just need to pretty it up and more tightly integrate the blue/teal theme whilst retaining the cleanness and simplicity!

They didn't listen. It's back to the grey! I agree that nice "green cubes" background looks nicer.

Yeah, that is a lot more in line with the branding.
