ITV.com, 2013 rebrand onwards

Yeah I noticed that. I clicked a short link to a program on twitter and it worked, but say I typed itv.com/gmb it wouldn't.

The new ITV News website is by far the best website on ITV.com. Its responsive design is brilliant and fluid, the menu is really clean and smart, and content resizes beautifully. It's even got a wide-view for larger screens. I hope it is paving the way for a new ITV Player, and updates to the default CMS design for websites on ITV.com like programme pages.

ITV Player would really benefit from HD playback options and improved discovery and navigation. Also, the default designs for like www.itv.com/xfactor or www.itv.com/coronationstreet or www.itv.com/thismorning would all benefit from better menu systems, improved two-column design and generally more featured content above the 'live stream' on all these pages which was inspired by ITV News 1.0.

Hope it's all on the way, inspired again by ITV News!

Quite a nice new ITV Player app on iOS. Interestingly they slot ITV Be between ITV2 and 3.

The ITV Sport page has been replaced by a page on the News site with recent posts and articles, a bit of a downgrade to the previous site.

What an appalling downgrade. I'm hoping it's a temporary measure before relaunching the Sport site, but this is ITV so they've probably settled for removing the Sport site almost entirely.

Pathetic.

Why does ITV Channel get a decent weather site yet the rest of the regions are left with just video forecasts?

ITV Channel Television have a contract with the Jersey Met Dept rather than the UK Met Office.
