Does anyone possibly have any screeng grabs of itv.com through the years?

I have been having a read through early pages of this thread and I love reading comments about the various revamps etc, but I can't remember what the site used to look like in 2006/2007 etc and I can only find a few random images.

Oh seriously what the hell is wrong with the people at ITV??

Surely with any new websites, they should all be made centred and I think they should all be following the design of pages like Daybreak, This Morning and 71 Degrees North, each with their own style but follow a slight theme.

By continuing making sites like this, they are just making it harder for themselves in the future as it will be harder to make it centre as it won't look right.

What is the point of ITV doing revamps to their website if pages are outdated as soon as they are launched??

Sorry for the rant, but I was starting to have faith in the people in charge of itv.com, but that starting to go again!

The subdomain probably allows them to either keep the previous website in tact, just in case or allowed them to work on this one without affecting the previous one.

As for Paul O'Grady, his side seems to be copyrighted in 2009, so not just the design that is a bit outdated.

The Daybreak and Lorraine sites are OK, spoilt by the ITV header. Certainly not good enough though.

The new This Morning site is a step down.

ITV.com is still the pits with no signs of improvement. The header changes and anything else they've done is like putting lipstick on a pig. They need to start FROM SCRATCH!

When the ITV website launched, somebody else had the ITV.com domain, so they used ITV.co.uk instead.
The graphics on this early version were bad GIFs. They should've used JPGs. It's from a few months prior to the 1998 rebrand.

Thanks for that. Forgot ITV used to use .co.uk
Love looking back at the old sites. Just a shame some archive sites on web archive do not work well or are in a bad state.

Does anyone know how the site actually works. At first I thought it used screenshots, but then I realised the links are clickable. Also some sites from the 90s work much better than some recent sites.

Might just be me who find it weird that ITV have suddenly started using the old ITV1 logo on some websites such as 71 Degrees North and This Morning.

I told ITV on twitter about it earlier in the week and they acknowledged it but still nothing has changed.

First of all, how on earth did they manage to use the old logo (not been in use since 2006) and secondly how has no one noticed it??
