The yellow and black tab bar is definitely an improvement, and that footer's not looking too bad either.
However, why haven't they made the pages on which they've updated the header centre-aligned?! They're also missing the thin yellow bar at the top of the page. I really hope this is just a stop-gap.
It's also shocking to know that the header and footer aren't controlled from one external place, so they could've updated it en masse, across the entire website at the same time.
Menu has been updated now on Channel Pages (Not ITV HD), TV Guide and Sport
And will slowly be rolled out across other pages and the footer has also been updated

New TV Guide page which lacks the new menu but looks quite nice and has new features and links which get you to other TV Shows. You can now also manage your favourite channels something im not 100% sure they did have but might of done. Plus brand new ITV Sport page which doesn't look too bad although the new menu has vanished from there and it looks like a good improvement.
Seeing as the TV Guide is centre-aligned I would imagine that everything else will be but with ITV as ever it is a slow process but hopefully things will improve.

New TV Guide is a massive improvement - a lot faster to load when changing times etc. Before it would take 5 seconds plus to move, now does it nearly instantly. Much better look too!
Sports page a lot better - as it is the first thing you get, when you click sport, before it had a mish mash of things going on. Now some nice headers etc for each sport.

Still by no means near enough work needed to complete the site, but an improvement like this is very reassuring, and a very nice improvement as well! I would love a new homepage. I really would, something that can tell me the latest news and weather plus give the highlights of the TV Shows.
