The homepage is a bit of an improvement as at least now you can actually make out what all of the pictures as supposed to be of (compared to the two pixels we used to be given).
Also the Corrie website is a country mile better than the hideous old one.

Funny how they've put Corrie on the bar at the top but not Emmerdale.
Also, judging from the new sites, it looks like the right hand video on every page has finally been slaughtered.
Still, as has been said ITV really need to destroy this site and come up with something clean and easy-to-navigate if they want to make a decent bit of cash online.

More changes to the ITV website have taken place since the header was changed. The video player has now vanished from the home page and instead the 'feature' panel now stretches across the entire width of the page, and looks worse in my opinion. I see that an additional 'Drama' link has appeared in the header menu, though only on the home page. Also I note the lack of any link to the 'Local' sites now that ITVLocal.com has moved to the main ITV site.
I prefer the old navigation, which can be seen on http://xfactor.itv.com/
By comparison the changes have broken the 'Colour of Money' website http://www.itv.com/Games/Gameshows/TheColourofMoney/default.html

ITV Wields Axe On ITV.com Content Team
ITV (LSE: ITV) is making about 30 percent of its ITV.com content team redundant, paidContent:UK has learned - despite Michael Grade pledging to focus on its core website.

Clearly in the not to distant future by the looks of it.
I really believe that ITV are trying to make the site better. But sadly there effort is not enough. And by the way does anyone know when ITV Local will re-launch?

Anybody seen the Gossip Girl player. IMO I would rather have this flash player then the silverlight one. http://www.itv.com/drama/contemporary/gossipgirl/episodes/default.html

They were all-ways behind iPlayer 4od and Demand Five with there silverlight player and stupid UI.
No better than sky now with their on demand service then.
Really they are getting desperate for money, Perhaps they should ask to get a bit of the taxpayer's money into their pockets along with advertising revenue?
