ITV.com Discussion Thread

That site's been like that for a while now, before the BBC got back the rights.

The TV rights.

They need to sort out the font sizes on the pages and the navigation menus need to be consistent accross all pages / sites.
Before this tweak the show pages links matched up to the navigation - but now it looks like a cut and paste job by a 10 year old.

Ooo Ive just had a look at itv.com and surpised that it's been tidied up quite a bit.

Its all rectangles and white and grey! Very sparse looking. Im surprised not to see more blue and yellow!

Its very clean looking but maybe a bit too clean now - it needs some personality injecting into it!

Saw the new advert for ITV.COM's catchup last night, its a hand going through loads of little snap shot cards of programmes, it may not be the best advert ever made, but it gets the whole point of the catch up service across, something that the original ITV.COM relaunch advert didn't, sometimes it's just easier to tell people what they need to know.

Yeah it is. Looks quite nice.

Interesting to note they've decided to go back to the channelname.itv.com structure for the URL (they had this for the ITV4 site URL when ITV4 first launched). I assume the ITV3 and ITV4 sites will follow suit soon? It would also be nice to have a proper ITV1 section.

Strange they've decided to miss the Video Player off the side of that page though.

I'm glad they have, I can't abide that thing on every page. Nice design over all and certainly better than anything else they've got on the site.

Seems like ITV have got some rights to Wimbledon!

Seems a bit pointless - who would want to listen to Wimbledon matches on itv.com when they can see them in the glory of video at bbc.co.uk?
