What a shame, ITV have ditched the 'Talk To Me' website, in favour of a blank page with a code on..

Plus, I was able to watch video's fine, until now I get a message saying 'run an update', such a shame.

The news is a disgrace, I didn't think ITV News was so poor to dedicate a website to 'viewer content' and have just 10 news stories. In the menu they should have 'Top Stories - Britain - World - Weather - Uploaded - About Us'.. and so on!

Ah yes - seems to be (with some broken pictures though). On the homepage footer it links to http://forums.itv.com/ instead.

I think that this is the old one and this is the new one.

I just received an email from ITV regarding the forums. Make of it what you will:

ITV will be making changes to the way you access the ITV Forums within the itv.com site over the next week. As part of these changes, ITV Forum users will be restricted to read only access from 5 August, 2007 until 7 August, 2007.

Once the full site returns on 7 August, 2007, changes will be made to the way you access your account:

* Your sign-in name will become your email address
* Your password will be automatically reset and we will email you a temporary password within 24 hours. Once you have entered your temporary password you will be prompted to enter a more secure password.
* Your screen name will remain the same
* You will be asked to accept our Terms and Conditions

Interesting - let's hope they perform the switch then. This will be the second period of downtime now - the first lead to nothing!

Regarding the homepage, they NEED to sort out the ITV.com and ITV1 logos used in the flash - it's so cheap and just awful. I'd also prefer it if the purple backdrop was replaced with clouds like in that initial concept we saw. They could change depending on the time of day, I'm not sure why but it would seem more 'relevant' to me if they did.

With the ITV News site, it is in urgent need of beefing up. The site has gone drastically, drastically downhill. 10 stories is absolutely pathetic - the old site had World news and other sections as well. I really didn't think they could make the ITV News website WORSE but they have surpassed themselves.

www.xfactor.tv - new X Factor placeholder site up, NOT adopting the new ITV.com look it would seem. Thankfully, the width issue is sorted so it looks neat.

Finally, I can see they are adding pages left right and centre for old and new shows alike: The Antony Cotton Show, Little Devil etc.

I only hope they will keep going - some of the more recent classics ought to be added like Cold Feet, Peak Practice and London's Burning.

The X Factor site has the new header for me - is that what you mean?

I still find it odd they advertise other TV channels on their TV Guide page.

Their is now a page for 'Tonight with Trevor McDonald' but their is a message saying the site is being built, www.itv.com/tonight

I still think the homepage needs tidying but the whole site continues to grow on me each time I visit it.
