So it doesn't. I don't like what they've replaced it with though.
In fact, its blatant, but I think they should redesign the ITV2 website altogether.
The whole of ITV.com needs it, but that's never going to happen.
Just one 'mini-site', even if not a very big revamp, could make a difference, but ITV2 just reminds you of the old site.

ITV duty office told me that a full rebrand is expected sometime in the middle of the year. (not sure of a date)

Ironically, there's now links to a visitor survey on the ITV2 page. (a little popup)

ITV.com is assembled out of many different parts with @www and Fernhart being just two.
For the last 4 years @www has looked after the core functionality; homepage, navigation, soaps, entertainments etc.
Fernhart have looked after the regional ITV website for the last two years having reframed websites that use to belong to Granada and Carlton (Remember them?)
Key programme websites such as X-factor and I’m a Celebrity are built by other organisations.
Sport, News and F1 are also run by Haymarket, ITN and so on…

The only decent website that ITV seem to have is tynetees.tv
Which sadly at this present moment in time is looking very broken, with missing pages and images all over the place. I hope that doesn't mean ITV have finally noticed the site's still there and it's on its way out at last. It's certainly survived longer than anyone expected it to I think, and I can't see it getting another rebrand to the current ITV look.
