to put an email address in to even watch some content such as R&B or the RWC. Appalling forced marketing. Grumble grumble.

"we still have to sit through an ident..." Oh dear, all of 4 seconds!!
"...and 2 adverts" you aren't paying for the service, they have to get money to run it from somewhere.
"we have to put an email address in..." Err, no idea what you are doing to get this, but I just selected an episode of Red and Black and the opening to the RWC and it didn't ask me for an email, and infact it didn't play any adverts either.
I swear some people just love to moan for no good reason!

Sorry, didn't mean to upset all the ITV fanboys. It's just frustrating that on all other services, you click play and it plays, but on ITV Player, not content with having adverts flashing at you on all other unused pixels on the website like some kind of Las Vegas billboard, they put them on and during the video stream. The whole idea of content on demand is that -- on demand, when I want it. I wanted to tune in to the RWC live at 9:30, not 9:32am.

You hardly need to be a fanboy to roll your eyes at someone complaining about there being adverts on a commercially funded service.
A brand new food site has been launched featuring different recipes and food features etc. Changes to the menu links too.

Ooh I love that new look page! Like the fact they are now willing to change from the norm occasionally. As long as they don't do it too much it works well.

It's nice to see that they are testing out new design styles etc and features. I love the elements on there and think that they have done a good job considering previous design flops.
Is anyone else having problems viewing videos on the national and london news websites. Not only has the video size changed but the quality seems to have increased so much that I cannot view the videos because it is constantly buffering. I can watch Merdian's videos and they are wide :S
