Don't really care for it much.
The look they had back in 2000 was by far the best.
As for this one, the news bulletin automatically starting when you open the page is quite startling. Compared to the previous one, however, it is fine.
But this is web design!

Personally, I think it looks a lot less professionally done than their previous site, with an awful lot of feeling like its been based on readily available scripts put together by a student rather than someone who's skilled in web design, and I'm surprised some of the wannabe-design-agency-folks from the mock forum haven't ripped it to shreds yet. Certainly whoever is working on it isn't a graphic guru, as all the newer images are just 'itv tyne tees logo bam word'. On saying that, that's perhaps what a small operation like Tyne Tees actually needs though, as then there's a better chance of it being properly maintained, though if it took all this time to just get this site together, I wouldn't hold my breath.
