In a Summary:
I emailed ITV Tyne Tees via the current website www.tynetees.tv saying my friend told me we'd be getting a new website.
And the woman replied yes and it will be here in the next few weeks.

It will be launching in about two weeks. They are awaiting for the newsroom to film a piece for the launch.
Lets hope it will be good this time Cool !

I emailed the woman again on tuesday and it will be very soon. As they have pushed the launch date earlier - e.g waiting for a filming piece from the newsroom.
So hopefully shortly. .

Well that sign was put on the building only a few weeks before the new ITV logo came into use - pointless having it made really.

If you ask me they should have just put a

TT
TV

logo on the building.

Maybe they should have - as that is the real Tyne Tees.
not ITV1 Tyne Tees

Well of course they didn't ditch the Tyne Tees Television sign on City Road when it became Channel 3 North East, although all the outside TTTV signs were replaced.

However I do remember going to see Crosswits being recorded (1997) and in the reception area the TTTV logo was still present.

They also had a nice version of it made of marble I think, which was sunk into the floor by the main doors.
