I notice the regional websites have had a bit of a makeover.

It's OK, but still crap from most of them before the generic makeover!
The images are over squsahed, the only improvement is Westcountry is spelt in the correct way.

i dont like it - as said previously, the images are too compressed resulting in distortion which is an eyesore to the site. Look at London.

I just checked out ITV West, love the squashed ident and pics.... reminds me of another site but can't remember which? Wink

Who the hell looks after these sub sites? Surely a professional company such as ITV can find a team of decent web designers?

How many reincarnations have the regional websites had now since they went into the ITV style, and how many different redirect addresses have they used!

It depends on the region the quality of the images. Anglia seens to be OK yet some others don't.

There was a time just after last year's merger, where all the ITV Plc sites, were all branded 'ITV Region ...' whilst using their former respective Carlton or Granada design, there was a point where ITV London had two, obviously for Carlton and LWT, but this being pointless after the merger really.

Shame that so many of the old published addresses return 404 errors now - are they still promoting www.itv1wales.com on screen, for example?

I think ITV's website links and design need a major rethink...

2 good things about the Granada Site, 1. New Photo of Granada Reports studio and 2. The GMG Weather map has gone.

The new Anglia one now lets us see a bit about the presenters and stuff...which it never did before. The news page is a bit more confusing though... but generally ok i think.

And of course TTTV are still running two separate websites, and only promoting their own on-screen. The last bastion of Geordie rebellion left at the station, and hopefully long may it continue.

Just now was the first I knew of the rancid generic version of the site Laughing
