ITV Local

It's an awful lot better than the crap which is the default ITV.com template IMO.

I can't get any of the videos to play on ITV Local, it says:

"Stream Error: This may be due to congestion between you and the media servers, or our servers are busy, or a local problem with your PC. Please try again later."

I used to get this occasionally, but now its not letting me play anything. I highly doubt their servers are busy. Is anybody else unable to play videos? E.g. of their regional news.

I see that ITV Local has had a slight makeover.

I don't like it, much too basic now compared to before.
Looks like a quick job in Frontpage if you ask me.

It's very ugly. Far too blocky.

Tyne Tees, Yorkshire, Wales, West, Westcountry and Meridian still using the old format. And yes I agree it does look too plain.

The drop down box on it displays Westcountry twice.
The video seems to follow you down the page.

It's not perfect, but at least it doesn't have so many pointless images for navigation.

Every button and rounded corner was a separate image before.

I wish they'd move to a Flash player rather than embedded Windows Media.

It seems thames valley have their own space on the regions map now, and their own area separate from itv meridian. (about time i say )

How many people actually use ITV Local? I have never come across someone to even know what it was; apart from on this forum.

Well, I see you're in the stv central region, which isn't catered for on ITV Local.
So, how can you expect to come across many people that know what it is?

Good point.... Well I guess I can't imagine it being popular then.

ITV local is great IMO good quality videos but with me anyway this is about the only site which causes IE7 to crash.. anyone else ?

Plus I wish they would get this site 100% OSX compatable ie full screen
