Hi,

Hope it's ok to post this here. I am creating a site devoted to ITV presentation and continuity.
I haven't been working on it long which is why there isn't that much to see yet, but I am adding to it every day and would love to get some feedback.

As I said its still in its early stages, but please give comments, positive or negative.

A good site, with lots of images of the current ITV presentation.

My only gripe, is that you should put links to the channels in the top menu bar, it saves people having to go back to the homepage every time.

Keep up the good work!

What software do you use to design the banner icons? I can't help noticing the font isn't anti-alised. You could try using The GIMP:

But other than that I think its coming along good.

At the minute I am only using Paint and Publisher. I did have a good program but it was a subscription program and didn't want to pay the stupid price again. I will try using GIMP. Never used it before.

I have figured out one thing I have been doing stupidly wrong, if you right click on most images and banners and click 'View Image' the images are huge, which is why when there is added text, the text looks pixelated which is what I am currently sorting out (which is why there is the red text on the homepage, and some pages currently don't have images).

I have now edited the site to include drop down menus for the main pages. Hope this makes it easier.

I need some help from you guys...

I have been in touch with ITV and they asked me if I could change my website name/URL so it doesn't contain ITV.

It's A bit of a pain as its hard to associate it with ITV without ITV being in the name/URL. But I don't want to get into any trouble over it, its just not worth it.

I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with some name ideas so it still relates in some way to ITV, but so it doesn't actually contain ITV. I can use independent tv/television in the title though.

One idea I had was 'The Independent TV Den' but that's a bit of a mouthful, and a lot to type into an address bar without making any mistakes.

I will be very grateful for any ideas, and if I pick any of them I will give credit on my site.
