It's taken nearly 18 months to get this project up and going, but I've done it. Working with my very good friend Rob, I am pleased to announce the launch of the ITV Centre. This website is dedicated to the ITV Network from the beginning of its broadcasts in 1955 to the present day. Not all the pages have been completed, but as the weeks go by, we'll keep updating the site with new material. We are hoping to provide a comprehensive guide to every single ITV region, with details of their history and programming. We also provide information about the other ITV Channels, including ITV2 and the ITV News Channel. We'll also look into features that have made the news, including the ITV Digital fiasco, and the franchise auctions of 1993.
This site is supposed to be a joke, right? ... and you brand yourself as 'Davina Free Zone' - well that's a bit silly - being a website about ITV you should be talking about Davina's role at the station.
Its a bit like my Tyne Tees site, I may personally not like one of the presenters, say Mike Neville, but the fact is, if you're providing information about a company, then you generally provide the whole picture, not just the bits you like.
Personal taste has to go to one side and the facts have to be displayed, even the ones you dont really want to show.
UPDATE
The site has been invaded by adverts. According to the e-mail I've recieved...

For the past four years Brinkster has provided free web hosting without displaying ads O* customer's web sites. In order to continue to provide you with quality free web hosting the following change will be made. Starting October 24, 2003 you will start to see advertising O* your free web site.
Which makes the site look awful. I'm looking to sort this out, so in the meantime, please bear with me. I'm adding some audio to the site as well. Central's first ident in audio has been added, and there is more to come.
