Is it just me or what...

Despite the warning, TV-Ark has not updates since 1st August and same with TV Home, but at least there is a reason for this pause in updating, again. But the biggest surprise is The TV Room which hasn't updated since the 25th July.

WHY!?!?

Hebus Jebus. Calm down its only a presentation website.

Incidentally, one question mark is sufficient indication of the interrogative.

Because the people who maintain those sites do so as a hobby, voluntarily and have real, offline lives to attend to as well which, more often than not, will take proiority over their website. And let's not forget the back end maintenance required to keep your favourite sites up & running which the great unwashed masses are not aware of.

Ever heard of the.... DUM DUM DUM... SUMMER HOLIDAYS?
Yup, it's that time of year when people take a break from their usual lives and do things to relax, or go away. In this case, Mike or Asa probably have gone away (well, maybe not Asa), so they can't update the site unless they have a laptop.

Mike is currently busy with work related issues, unfortunatly people in work do not get long breaks in the summer.

Updates are being prepared and will be appearing in the next few months.

Posts like yours always make me sigh with disappointment. Please . . . . be appreciative that the sites exist in the first place.

The thing I find more absurd is the site with the longest time with an update is just 3 weeks!

Hows this for an idea, anybody who moans about lack of updates should pay them a salary so they could do it on a full time basis. That should stop the moaning and for people to except they should be thankful for what they get.

Sadly no summer hols for me this year - my third uni year involves going out to industry so I'm doing some real(!) work, 5-days a week in London and after the long days, the last thing I want to do anymore is update the site. That, and in my opinion a lack of anything decent to update the site with either.

The truth is there has been very few changes in presentation over the last month - the biggest thing being the Olympic rings on the BBC1 promos.
