When's the iPlayer on Virgin On Demand launching? It should be sometime this month shouldn't it?

Yes, some time this month.
What's the difference between the current setup and the iPlayer version which is out soon beyond what I reckon will just be a new frontend much like Virgin Central is.

It'll have a lot more content, but I can't remember the exact x amount of hours. For example, we don't currently get BBC Parliament or News 24 programmes as far as I know.

It's nice but unless they're increasing archive content also, it'll have little worth for me.
They've lots of archive content in the main On Demand section if you weren't aware - but I agree it needs to be more.

are the bbc shows on there still just taped off the telly? i can't say i've watched it in ages
Yeah - they don't even cut off the ident before, there can be as much as three minutes before the actual programme starts, sometimes even with the last few seconds of the programme before. Will this change, as the BBC brands it as iPlayer?
