HTV website dies

The HTV website at www.htv.co.uk has finally died and now redirects to the ITV regions page.

Previously it had continued to use the HTV brand legitimately as the official name of the franchise holder in Wales, "HTV Group Ltd" with details on their remit, management, jobs etc. It launched after the channel changed its name to ITV1Wales.

Instead it redirects to a page with the following statement:

ITV has been the only truly regional television network in Britain since its creation in 1955 to provide quality television for local audiences.

Hmm.

The HTV group website disappeared several months ago now (I think it happened shortly after the itv rebrand).

www.htvarchive.com has also gone. This was a very good website and was only launched earlier this year.

Hey don't worry because with the wayback machine you can get htv website as it was from 1996 up to when it went of line.
click the years for the site back as it was.

I didn't i never visited this forum untill this year and just going through each page to read what was on it and just stumbled on it so i thought i could help if the person who originally created this thread . is still reading these forums.
