Wow, happy 9th birthday TV Forum. A lot of good quality time spent with the old blue pages. Long may it continue.

Is the F9rum logo the reason that Asa was after the Forum font?

Bloody hell, 9 years, I remember when this forum first opened & was the sister site to TV Home. Either way Happy Birthday TVF Smile

NOSTALGIA!

3rd birthday thread (2004): http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forums/topic9408/page1

5th birthday thread (2006): http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forums/topic20047/page1

7th birthday thread (2008): http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forums/topic27560/page1

The rest are probably around too, those were just the ones I could find :p

I can't believe I've been using the forum for nine years!! I was a ridiculously young twelve years old when I started posting here, and now I'm 21. Maybe it's a good thing the very earliest posts aren't around anymore as I'd die of embarrassment looking at my pre-teen rambles.

A happy birthday to TV Forum, and good grief it's the *tenth* anniversary next year - now that's going to be weird!

Certainly feels weird to be almost a decade into the life of this great forum, and here's hoping to many more years discussing as much television presentation as possible. Thanks, Asa... Smile

Happy birthday yet again, keeping me in the know about TV presentation and keeping me wondering about things as you do so... such as:

"Where did Katherine go?"
"What did jamez say about Chris Rogers?"
"When will the Archive finally re-open?"
"Why oh why oh why did I ever post the things I did when I joined?"
Laughing

Happy 9th birthday, and Asa, here's to the next 9 Smile

Yes, Katherine's never-ending admiration for a certain weather forecaster on Look North (Yorks & Lincs) was a highlight of this forum in the early days. Laughing

Happy 9th birthday everyone, here's to the next 9.

Oh dear...how time passes! Shocked

I loitered before my recorded date of joining (and probably joined as someone else originally), but it's disturbing to think I've probably been visiting here on a regular basis for longer than my 'little grey cells' can remember.

Any excuse to chink a glass of 'prune juice' to another 9 years! Laughing

The question is, how will the logo incorporate 10 without not making sense? I can't see TV 10rum working... might just have to be a balloon tied to the 'm' or something Laughing

Crickey have I been coming here for 9 years (or is it slightly longer than that as you didn't have to register on the original forum). Makes me feel old now as I was at college when this place started up. TV Home, those were the days Cool

Indeed they were, David. I seriously can't believe we're now into TV Forum's 10th year on the net!! That is a scary amount of time. Like many of the original members, I was only a teenager when I signed up during the first couple of days. It's unbelievable to think I was moderating TV Forum at the tender age of 14! TV Forum's certainly had its fair share of ups and downs over the years, but it has consistently remained a generally good-humoured, not too serious, informative and entertaining place and it's always a pleasure to log in. Happy Birthday, TVF.
