If TV Home was rubbish, how come some professional people come in? They have said it is a good site. I'm talking about some BBC News staff. And why would they bother coming in again and again if it is rubbish?

BTW: I have to say your site is not very good. Its layout is quite bad and the fonts and images are simply vulgar.

OK, you may say my site is crap but it's just a displaying space - not a website.

I'm also doubting your identity...your page states that the webmaster is a Robin somebody (I didn't not the surname)...I think you and Big BrotherREAL are the same person
I doubt that they are one and the same -- at least the original 'Big Brother' (in as far as anyone called 'Big Brother' can be original ha ha) has taste when it comes to design. After all, all those splash pages that come and go do look nice.

Yeah i'd say that the two Big Brothers were very different and one is deluded probably 12 year old, but also for the reason that our Big Brother will probably go insane when your refered to them possibly being the same. Anyway moving on Max/Robin, who says your site is the best, because we certainly don't and webmasters unless they have had possitive feed back cannot say that, even Asa, Mark Mike etc. don't go on about being the best and they recieve plenty of praise. I do not claim that my site is the best(it doesn't really have a category, which is a real pain when it comes to submitting it to search engines!), I like it, and think the design has improved alot but know that it isn't perfect. (Changing attack slightly) When I first went to your site I didn't come back and say that its graohics were/are awful, but seeing how you have stolen content and and are extremly arrogant, its right that we do, the images are awful, formats compressions, actual positioning of text, and your site like TV Eye(At least its images are better, the whole e-mailing things idea is wierd) has tried to do a image map, but forgot the whole code needed, and have just put an image up, image maps aren't easy, i've never done one(never had the need) but know that they are tricky. Anyway getting back to the point, your site is not 'the best', althought its probably got 'the most arrogrant webmaster'.

(See they're forum where he admits)

TV Planet now Credits TV Home and TV Ark.
But Steve or Myself at The Ark have NOT given permission at all. Now that Mike at The TV Room has his email back, the story might continue!

Let's just quickly run through what happens when I capture clips and place them on my site - hopefully it will show you how much time and effort goes into the process:
1) Recording the clip to VHS (or TiVo, Sky+, whatever!)
2) Booting PC and opening capture software
3) Finding the correct place on the tape
4) Playing the rush
5) Selecting record on capture software
6) End the recording and save file
7) Open editing software and load rush
Cool Edit rush down to size and save file
9) Open compression software
10) Give file name, select compression level etc
11) Start compression
12) Save new file
13) Place link to new file in appropriate page's HTML, save page. Check page for errors.
14) Open Freeserve Internet connection
15) Load FTP software
16) Upload file to correct FTP location, plus upload edited HTML pages
17) Check update on IE, Netscape and AOL's browser
1Cool Declare update successful and allow riffraff (you lot Wink ) in to surf.

All that takes me about an hour (call me slow if you want) and that's just for one clip, but that list doesn't include pulling hair out when VCR won't do as it's told, the framerate is wrong or I've captured the wrong channel.
<rant>
Capturing clips takes a hell of a load of effort, it's not just a case of pressing a button, releasing the button and uploading.

Yeah but for some reason Mark, he doesn't understand that.

As per my email Robin, I insist that you remove all content, links and information about TV Home from your website. A credit is not good enough. 'Thanks for the ITV1 presentation'? Why? We didn't say you could.

The 'TV Planet' website and its contents have been brought to my attention this evening.  Having made my way through most of the material in this thread, I am not inclined to waste time engaging with the author of this 'website'; the level of immaturity is somewhat breathtaking  As with TV Ark and TV Home, you were not given permission to take images from The TV Room website.  What I will say Sir is that you have broken one of the cardinal rules of the internet and as such you have been blacklisted by other webmasters.

Mike.

Consider this...
The only people who seem to know about this pathetic little site of Max's, is us.
If none of us bother to visit, and let's face it, why would we? Then Max will have a grand total of 0 visitors.
I suggest people just don't bother visiting.

I'd tell Max about the 5 weeks it took me to create the TV Ark satellite section - but I've not got the time nor the energy to waste on this twerp.

My site is the best.

I sincerely hope you are simply being bloody minded here and don't *actually* think that your site IS the best, cos if you do, I've got news for you: IT AIN'T.  It is in fact one of the worst laid out sites I have ever seen.  The use of background images and Comic Sans says it all really, but you seem to have no structure, no design, and the whole thing seems to have been strung together in something like FrontPage Express or Word in 10 minutes.
Also, your use of English is appauling:
Companys is not a word. Companies is. Your grammar on the site certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm sorry if I'm sounding harsh, but this sort of site really annoys me.

I don't know where the real Big Brother(Ian) is, he may not know that the forum is here. What i would like to say is that he and this guy are two very distinctly different people - BB (real) makes better websites for one! As he is absent at the mo (hols i think) i feel that i should just remind you all that it isn't him, it's someone else.

thanks,
james
