Forum is cut off on the right hand side. Had to switch to the mobile skin. Don't they know some people still have monitors which can't display a higher resolution than 1024x768?
Not just on tablets. It affects desktop PCs too, if the monitor is old.
They've some now buggered up the forums by cutting off the right hand part of the screen when viewing on a tablet.

Last stats I saw said around 10% of people use monitors at 1024x768, which obviously also includes a lot of tablets. These days I think it's fair enough designing for larger monitors, provided you don't get rid of the horizontal scroll bar. Doing so breaks the website. Just like DS have done...
Also, from reading one of the "new look" threads, it appears channelwiki has been added to their swear list. Every cloud and all that

Navigating the forums is a nightmare.
The revenue making editorial side of the site is a much cleaner look though, although the logo is meh.

I think that pretty much sums things up for me too. It's a nice layout; inoffensive. A definite improvement.
The content is still amateur hour though. One of their top stories in the first two hours after the relaunch (and I say 'top story', in that it was one of the two largest headlines at the top of the front page) was "Windows 8 update 'to match Xbox One interface, codename Threshold'".
That headline apparently includes a quote, and the article itself says that "the PC operating system will see a new-look user interface that closely matches the look and feel of the console", citing ZDNet as its source. Except that the ZDNet article says nothing of the sort. Even the author of the ZDNet article, Mary Jo Foley, was baffled as to how DS got from what she wrote to what they wrote.
DS should probably stick to the celebrity fluff and gossip and leave everything else to people who know what they're talking about. All style, no substance.
It will take some getting used to. And apart from the advertising, its not too bad. Nice and clean layouts and use of colour. The logo looks inoffensive if a little uninspiring - still much better than what they had before.
It no longer looks like an amature outfit.

Really? Why has ChannelWiki been added?

The post seems to have been deleted (probably for bypassing the swear filter), and the user banned. It was probably this post wot dunnit.
Edit: Or one of the many other links spammed onto the site by that user.

Old buttons are still in use? Awful redesign.

Someone seems to have spammed ChannelWiki too (though it's fixed now). How odd.
