Oh, on the contrary. I do believe that is it. You darent have an opinion other than theirs or they will try and shut you down.... either by rounding up others to gang up on you or by constantly reporting you to the mods so you are then unable to post back whilst they continue to mock you.

I try not to argue, merely put across my opinion. Which I’m just as entitled to as they are.

I've never seen anybody anti-EU win an argument anywhere using facts or logic, so you're probably used to it

I'm not saying this is the case here, but almost every time I hear someone suggesting this sort of thing is going on, it's actually valid complaints about the content that gets it removed - it's almost always those people posting lies, "fake news", conspiracies, and inciteful material being the ones who complain, and they always label it as a conspiracy by a small number of other users.

Like I said, not saying this is the case here, but it does sound like a familiar situation, but then again, DS is a horrible place to post anyway and it's not difficult to run against one of the cliques.

Isn't that in part down to curation of the people you see (I'm talking in general)?

Say on Twitter - you're likely to follow the people who make the best arguments in your favour, and the people you're most likely to argue with / see arguments about are the ones making a poor case for the other side.

I mean, it's easy to laugh at A C Grayling and June Sarpong, but it's not worth pretending they have the only pro-EU arguments.

I saw the stuff plymouthbloke posted before it got deleted and he got his temporary ban, he was far from the innocent party being ganged up on by the big bad pro-EU bullies he wants to make out he is.

I was suggesting (with tongue in cheek) that it's very difficult to win an argument based on facts and logic from an anti-EU position, because most of those arguments do not stand up to scrutiny. But that's a discussion for elsewhere.

I don't need to report anyone, there's enough alert happy people on there. On both sides. Which is shown by the number of deleted posts and warnings I've had myself, just in case you thought it was a conspiracy against brexiteers.
